Saddle Tramps help member prepare for winter

Not sleigh bells ringing, but chainsaws buzzing, as 16 members of the Neillsville Saddle Tramps recently cut, split and stacked about five pulp cords of wood to help a fellow member facing health issues prepare for cold winter weather.  After three hours of work, not ?horsing around,? members enjoyed a potluck meal.  Above Steve Barrette manned the chainsaw, while (l-r) Brad Goetz, Carla McNeely and Mary Ann Gaul handled the splitter.  Below, everyone worked hard to finish in three hours.  Anyone interested in joining Saddle Tramps may contact Bekke Barrette at 715-743-4892 or Sue Poziombke at 715-743-4806.  (Contributed photos)
