Family placements like this bring the whole family together for reunions and to honor their veteran family members, bringing awareness to those in attendance of the sacrifices made for freedom.

The Adler family also provided many of the volunteers needed to make the day special for all.  Greenwood American Legion Post #238 was on hand with a color guard, firing squad and dueling buglers, Rene Gerstner and Katie Kolano.  Kevin Gerstner led the Pledge of Allegiance and Katie Kolano led the Star Spangled Banner.  Dick Adler contacted all involved.

A Meditation Stone was presented to Jo Anne Clark by her children as a surprise and Thank you to Jo Anne for all her dedication in bringing patriotism back. Clark is the founder of Operation Yellow Ribbon Desert Storm. During the talking circle portion of the ceremony she told those present how she felt patriotism needed a boost and soldiers needed to know America stood behind them.  Many, many care packages are put together and sent overseas by Clark’s group.
