Tuft Museum to host Art Show

 

The Tufts’ Museum will present the Class of 2008 Art Show Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, from 7 p.m. to 10 p .m. and Sunday, May 18, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

The show will feature photography, painting, graphics, drawing, stained glass and ceramics by Amada Tyler, Samantha Turczyn, Layne Noah, Stephanie Attoe, Michelle Mitte, Liz Anding, Amber Grottke, Nick Sabin, Sam Kuhn, Katie Mills, Kristina Evans, Holly Opelt, Zack Lueck and Marta Knodle.

 

There is no cover charge all three days.  A Friday night artist’s reception will be held for attendees to meet the artists.  Music will be provided by Jim Richard (piano) and James Voss (bass).  Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.

 

 

Senior Art Show at Tuft’s Mansion a success

 

 

Senior artists (l-r) Michelle Mitte, Samantha Turczyn and Mary Glaza look at photographs displayed at the Class of Senior Art Show at Tuft’s Mansion held Friday, May 16, through Sunday, May 18, (2008).  Featured work included photography, paintings, graphic arts, ceramics and stained glass pieces.  Guests had the chance to meet with the artists Friday night and enjoy some jazz music on the porch.  Featured artists were Lyne Noah, Stephanie Attoe, Samantha Turczyn, Jillian Harmening, Marta Knodle, Jena Ehlen, Mary Glaza, Amanda Tyler, Michelle Mitte, Zach Lueck, Nick Sabin, Holly Opelt, Amber Grottke and Katie Mills.  (Contributed Photo)
