Rollie Benedict

July 28, 1891 - November 29, 1981

Rollie Benedict was the youngest son of Sanford W. Benedict, who in turn was the oldest son of Adonijah Benedict.  Therefore, Rollie O. Benedict was a grandson of Adonijah Benedict, a pioneer of York Township and Civil War veteran.  Rollie’s wife was the former Alice Young, who was a granddaughter of two other York Township pioneers, Nelson H. Young and Samuel A. Adams.  Rollie and Alice Benedict had one child, Edwin, who died as an infant and is buried in York Center Cemetery.[cemeteries/footer_gif.html]
