Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Beck, Colby, announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan, to Lance Mews, son of Mrs. Louis Mews and the late Richard Mews.

The bride to be is a 1972 graduate of Colby High School. She attended UW Center, Medford for 2 years. She will graduate from UW-Stevens Point in May, majoring in elementary education.

Mews is also a 1972 graduate of Colby High School. He attended UW Marshfield – Wood County campus for 2 years. He will graduate from UW-Madison in December, majoring in mechanical engineering.

The wedding date has been set for July 17, 1976.
