Dieno, Dick (Award - 1983)
Dick Dieno, the news director for WCCN radio of Neillsville, was in Stevens
Point late last week to pick up an Associated Press Award for the station.
The station received an honorable mention in the enterprise category for passing
on news tips to the wire service. During 1982, he and other staff tipped off or
gave 124 stories to the wire service that were used, Deno said.
The AM-FM station is headquartered in the World’s Fair Pavilion and is owned and
managed by Wayne Grap.
