Beilke, Dianne (21 June 1980)

The Rev. Maynard Stokka officiated at the Saturday afternoon, June 21, sharing of wedding vows by Dianne Beilke and Ronald Vine, both of rural Granton. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Norman Beilke, Rt. 1 Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, Rt.2 Granton.

With the father of the bride presenting her to the altar, the ceremonies were performed in Zion American Lutheran Church of Granton. “The Wedding Prayer” and “Oh Perfect Love” were the musical selections offered at the service by Susan Nelson and Joanne Schutt.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Marianne Humphrey of Chili. She was joined by Mrs. Jerold Beilke of Granton and Janice Braatz of Goshen, Indiana.

The bride wore an original gown of Chantilly lace with front inset, stand-up collar, full sleeves with pointed cuffs and a skirt made of tier-upon-tier of lace and flowing into a cathedral tarin. She also wore a fingertip-length veil of silk Illusion and rhinestone headpiece. She carried a cascading bouquet of pine roses, with carnations and baby’s breath. The matron of honor was attired in green, and the bridesmaids wore pink. Their gowns were full-length dotted Swiss in the empire style and featuring low, round necklines, butterfly sleeves, slightly gathered, ruffled skirts. They caried nosegay bouquets of green and pink carnations, white daisies and baby’s breath.

Serving as bestman was James Beilke. He was joined by Robert Vine and Kenneth Vine. Ushering were Jerold Beilke and Dale Vine. All are from the Granton area.

Leslie Vine and Craig Humphrey served as flower girl and ring bearer.

Following the ceremonies, a reception was held in the church basemen and a dance was held at the Granton Sportsmen’s Club. The couple will make their home on Rt. 2 Granton. She is employed by Praschak Machine Company in Marshfield, and he is a farmer.
