Chaltry, Lisa A. (21 June 1980)

In a 2:00 p.m. wedding on Saturday, June 21, Lisa A. Chaltry was wedded to Steven F. Dux. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated at the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church ceremonies in Neillsville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chaltry, Neillsville; and the groom is the son of Fredrick Dux of Rt. 2 Neillsville.

With her parents presenting her to the altar, the bride was attired in an organza gown with raschel lace and a key-hole neckline on the front and back. The gown also featured bishop sleeves and pleated pick-up skirt with matching hat.

Attending the bride were Annette Wiesner as maid of honor and Natalie Witte, Emile Raine and Patti Schraufnagel, all of Neillsville. Also in the party was Susan Olson, a sister of the bride from Merrillan. They were attired in knit, spaghetti stringed dresses with matching three-quarter length sleeveless coats which were edged with lace. Each also wore matching hats, all in pastel colors.

Mark Dux, brother of the groom, was bestman. He was joined by Paul Erpenbach, Larry Hediger, Kenneth Marg and Doug Heimstead. All are from Neillsville. Ushering were David Olson, the bride’s brother-in-law from Merrillan and Bryan Dux, a brother of the groom.

Dawn Kufalk, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl and James Kufalk, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer. The vocalist was Brad Zimmerman who offered special music for the wedding.

Following the ceremonies, a dinner reception was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall and dance followed at the Silver Dome. A wedding trip is planned for a later date.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High. The groom is a 1975 graduate of the same school and is an assistant manager for Copp’s Food Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
