Kampin, Earl "Nobby" (8 July 1929-8 January 1982)

CHILI--Earl "Nobby" Kampin, 52, of Chili, died Friday at St. Joseph's
Hospital. Services will be Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili, with
the Rev. T. P. Bradtke officating. Burial will be in the Yolo Cemetery,
Chili.

Friends may call Sunday and Monday at Hansen's Funeral Home and
Monday at the Church.

Pallbearers will be Howard Geldernick, Willard Geldernick, Ronald
Happe, George Scheckelman, Dale Krasselt and Harley Loos.

He was born July 8, 1929 in the town of Fremont, Clark County. He
recieved his education in Chili schools. He and Audrey Nelson were
married Oct 1, 1949, in Chili.

He worked for Armour Cheese from 1949-52, when he joined the Roddis
Plywood Co. He worked there for three years and then farmed from
1955-59. He then was employed by the Chili Milk Pool Co-op where he
worked until 1976. He had worked at Land O' Lakes, Spencer, from 1976
until his death.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Chili, and the Chili
Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Jerry of Chili; two daughters, Mrs.
Karl (Judy) Lovstad of Chili and Penny of Eau Claire; three
grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Rodney (Ev) Melbinger of Marshfield,
Mrs. James (Mildred) Portz and Mrs. Thelma Polly of Waukesha, Mrs. Hazel
Merchant of Grays Lake, Illinois, Mrs. Herb (Lorraine) Einig of Tarpon
Springs, Florida; three brothers, Charles of Waukesha, Harold of Lannon
and Otto Jr. of Spencer; and his mother, Mrs. Otto (Ida) Kampin of
Marshfield. He Was predeceased by his father.
