Johnson, Ornea M. "Red" (2 July 1906-5 December 1962)

Orneal (Red) Johnson, a resident of Route 3, Stanley, died suddenly
Wednesday while at work at the Acme Steel Corporation.

Mr. Johnson was born July 2, 1906, in the Town of Worden, Clark
County,the son of Ole and Susie Johnson. He had spent his entire life in
the Town of Worden and for the past ten years, in addition to farming,
had worked at Acme Steel. His marriage to Dorothea Mae Johnson took
place at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanley December 28, 1936.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothea Mae: two sons, David and Norman, at
home; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Lucken, and Mrs. Cora Peterson, both of
Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Charles (Anne) Anderson Sr., and Mrs. Alvin (Mable)
Peterson, Stanley; and Mrs. Thora Larson, Bayfield. His parents and one
daughter preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Plombon Funeral
Home Friday and Saturday till the remains will be taken to Our Savior's
Lutheran Church to lie in state until the time of the funeral. Rev. Carl
Peters will officiate at the services.

Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery.
