Mr. and Mrs. Malin Konieczny of route 1, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the engagement of their daughter, Nancy, to Dan Tolzmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Helmer Tolzmann, route 1, Fairchild.

Miss Konieczny is a senior at Thorp High School. Her fiancé is employed at Teledyne Post Company in Owen.

No definite wedding plans have been made at this time.

St. Hedwig’s Catholic Chapel, Thorp, was the setting for the June 8, 1974, 1:30 p.m. wedding of Nancy J. Konieczny and Daniel H. Tolzmann. Father John Puerner officiated in the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Malin Konieczny, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Tolzmann, Fairchild.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was wearing a gown of sheer white organza and Venice lace. The bishop sleeves were accented by a cuff trimmed with lace and a V-neck wedding band collard. The waist was empire styled with full skirt, featuring an attached train. The fingertip veil fell softly from a Juliet crown and was edged in lace. The bridal bouquet was made up of pink roses and white carnations with pink baby’s breath.

Miss Karen Konieczny, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a floor length pink gown made of cotton and rayon overskirt and bridal satin underlayer. It was trimmed with lace and had a pink satin ribbon at the waist. Bridesmaids were Sue Konieczny, sister of the bride, wearing pink, and LeAnn and Cindy Tolzmann, sisters of the groom, wearing green. Their gown were styled identically to that of the maid of honor, and carried pink and green carnations and daisies, with baby’s breath and ribbons to match their gowns.

Dennis Rinehart was best man and groomsmen were Mary Neisius and Jann Sopiarz. During offertory, which was carried up by the bride’s two brothers, Gary and Duane, and Judy Cwiklinski and Jamie Green. Mary Neisius sang “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” She also sang “Immaculate Mary,” while the bride placed a bouquet of mixed flowers on the Blessed Virgin’s Altar.

A reception was held at the Quonset Hall with approximately 200 people present. Wally and his Polkamasters provided the music.

Guests that attended the wedding came from Cummings, George, Elmwood Park, Elmhurst and Chicago, Illinois, St. Paul Minneapolis, Austin and Alber Lee, Minnesota, Loyal, Stanley, Owen and Thorp.

The newlyweds are making their home at 706 2nd East Street, Owen, Wisconsin.
