Kanikula Helen (Pavic) (11 FEB 1924 - 24 JAN 2019)

Helen Kanikula’s journey on Earth came to a peaceful end on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the age of 94, to start a new journey of eternal life in Heaven.

Helen made it her life purpose to help and care for others. She had strength, compassion and faith that fed her body until her last breath. She was an incredible example of a woman, wife, mother and friend. She touched the souls of many and made them feel welcome in her heart.

Her beautiful spirit is carried on in her daughters, Nadine Grusnick (Bob), Mary Rosebush and Patricia Cartmill (John); her grandchildren, Bradley Grusnick (Sarah), Nick Seeliger (Kelly), Andrea Kobs (John) and Austin Cartmill (Meghan) and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a private Celebration of Life for Helen at a later date. Interment will be with her husband, Harry, at the NWWI Veterans Cemetery.

Memorials can be sent to Feed My People, Mayo Hospice, or your local animal shelter.

Helen and her family would like to thank Mayo Hospice and The Neighbors of Dunn County for their attentive and compassionate care.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family.
