Gertrude I. Schultz (28 Aug 1907 - 12 May 1998)

Gertrude I. Schultz, 90, Medford, died May 12, 1998, at the Memorial Hospital of Taylor County Hospice Care, Medford.

Funeral services were held May 15, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester. Rev. Tom Liesener of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford officiated. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss.

Gertrude Schultz was born on August 28, 1907, in Dorchester, the daughter of Gustav and Mathilda (Hupke) Schultz. She was a graduate of Abbotsford High School. A single lady, Gertrude worked for many years at Cutler-Hammer Company in Milwaukee in a secretarial position. She later retired to live in Medford near her family.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Paul, Otto, William and Frank Schultz; six sisters: Anna Tonn, Fredia Meschefske, Amanda Virch, Martha Schultz, Hattie Elftmann and Bertha Schultz.
