Miss Kay Pauline Klabon and Robert A. Conzemius were united in marriage on Saturday, September 23, 1973 at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee. The Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiated in the double ring ceremony, which the bridal couple had written. The Rev. Will Grelle read the chose Bible texts and asked a nuptial blessing.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father to the wedding processional rendered by Sister Jeanne Conzemius at the organ. Miss Klabon was attired in a gown of her own design and fashioning, featuring a pearl accented, imported French ivory lace bodice with a mandarin collar. Scalloped cuffs enhanced the lace puff sleeves. The gathered skirt of organza over poi de soie flowed beneath an empire waistline. Her chapel train of poi de soie was appliqued with French lace. From her Juliet cap, ornate with seed pearls, billowed her full length chapel veil of sheer illusion, accented with a fingertip veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of orange tipped ivory roses, baby breath and ivy.

Mrs. Paulette Klabon, La Crosse, was her sister-in-law's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Christine Plautz, Withee, Mrs. Mary Mizerka, Beloit, Mrs. Darlene Conzemius, Madison, Mrs. Robert Klabon, North Lake, Illinois. They wore gowns of polyester crepe styled as the bride's gown, with French lace puff sleeves and highlighted with lace boleros. Their colors were apricot, peach, orange, burnt orange, and brown, respectively. Headbands of matching colors and lace adorned each coiffure. Each maden carried a long stemmed orange tipped ivoary rose. The floer girls were nieces of the bride, Melissa and Lisa Klabon of La Crosse, and Kari Klabon of North Lake, Illinois. The little girls wore gowns of apricot in the empire styled, accented with lace and carried wicker baskets of marigolds.

Kirby Klabon, brother of the bride, sang "The Wedding Benediction," "The Wedding Prayeer," and "The Lord's Prayer," accompanied by Sister Jeanne.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, John, of Eau Claire, and groomsmen were William Conzemius, Madison, Larry Klabon, La Crosse, Kenneth Klabon, North Lake, Illinois, and Henry Smith, Thorp. Keith Klabon, North Lake, Illinois, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The gentlemen wore Edwardian brown tuxedoes with carnation boutonniere.

Ushering the guests were Randy Plautz, Withee, and Dennis Ackerman, Madison.

The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Klabon, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Conzemius, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), the groom's parents.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Quonset Hall in Thorp.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, in 1972. The new Mrs. Conzemius is a student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and will graduate in December 1973 with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

The couple plans to make their home in Madison until January, at which time they will moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Mrs. Conzemius will intern at the Neuropsychiatric Institute, University of Michigan.
