Jacobson, LaMoine M. (9 DEC 1922 - 4 JAN 2019)

LaMoine M. Jacobson, 96, of Stanley, died Friday, January 4, 2019 at Oakbrook Nursing and Rehab-Thorp. He was born on December 9, 1922 in Eau Claire to the late Knute and Sigrid (Lien) Jacobson.

He grew up in the Eau Claire area and graduated from High School there. LaMoine married Margaret “Peggy” Anderson on October 15, 1951. LaMoine farmed for a time, worked at the Stanley Corporation and was a painter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the
Packers, Brewers and Badgers. Most of all he was so very proud of his Norwegian heritage.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Skip) Klabon of Colby, Judy Jacobson-Rau of Sussex, Richard (Dae) Jacobson of Stanley and Karen (Gerald) Mundt of Pittsville, 10 grandchildren, Matt, Chad, Josh, Brett, Amanda, Pamela, Amy, Jennifer, Tiffany and Evan and 8 Great Grandchildren, Abigail, Jackson, Emmalin, Chase, Carson, Brenna, Mallory and Kaden.

LaMoine is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (2013), his parents, a daughter, Kathy Gutowski, a granddaughter, Kristin Spaeth, his brother, Marvin and one sister, Helen Hornback.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church-Stanley with Pastor Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to services at the Church. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
