Scott, James F. Jr. (17 SEP 1973 – 30 DEC 2018)

Owen - James F. Scott Jr. age 45 of Owen, passed away on Sunday December 30, 2018 in the emergency room at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Family and friends are welcome for the visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services on Saturday. Inurnment will take place in the Longwood Municipal Cemetery at a later date.

James was born on September 17, 1973 in Chicago, IL the son of James F. Scott Sr. and Susan Vogelsberg. He attended Chicago area schools and was a 1990 graduate of Glenbard East High School in Lombard, IL, shortly after he moved to the town of Longwood and did carpentry and construction work all his life. James was known as MacGyver he could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing especially for musky and northern.

James is survived by his significant other; Sarah Jasmer, mother; Susan (Donald) Krueger, children; Christopher Scott, Karin Scott and Jimmy Scott III and his brother; Brian (Nicole) Scott. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father and uncle; William Scott.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
