Holy Rosary Church, Owen, was the setting for the wedding of Miss Lynda L. Devine and Dennis V. Schulz, performed on Saturday, March 3, 1973 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon by the Rev. George Becker. Miss Sharon Laube rendered the music.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Devine of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Schulz of Milwaukee.

The bride was attired in a bridal gown fashioned with empire waist with skirt and train of lace, accented by her illusion lace veil. She carried a bouquet of blue tipped carnations and white roses.

Matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Rodney Quelle, with bridesmaids, the misses Mary Zelm, Sue Gajda and Diane Buss. They were attired in gowns of blue satin, empire styled accented by ribbon lace trim. They carried one long stemmed. They carried one long stemmed white rose.

The bride's sister< Michelle Devine, was the miniature bride, and the miniature groom was Scottie Schulz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Schulz of Merrill. The little bride wore a gown identical to that of the bride.

Attending the groom was Stewart Schulz, with groomsmen, Terry Schulz, Phillip Schulz, and Robert Dandowski. The groom wore a white tux and his attendants wore a blue tux.

The ushers for the wedding were Ted Devine, brother off the bride, and Greg Goldsmith, a friend of the groom from Eau Claire.

A reception and dinner were held at the Meadowview Country Club following the wedding, which included a wedding dance.

The bride is a 1972 graduate the Owen-Withee High School, and the groom attended M.T.C. in Milwaukee following his high School graduation. He is employed as an electrician for Alto Shaam Company in Milwaukee. The bride is employed as a bookkeeper for Woolworths accounting department.

The newlyweds are now residing at 3533 West Elm Street in Milwaukee. Their wedding trip is planned for England at a later date.

Geusts were here from Merrill, Stevens Point, Milwaukee, Madison, Verona, Rockford, Lodi, Oconomowoc, Eau Claire, Eleva, Bruce, Wausau, Colby, Spencer, Thorp, Owen and Withee.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Schulz on Saturday at the Meadowview Country Club.
