Bodwin, Hubert F. (4 October 1923 – 9 December 2018) With Flag

Hubert F. Bodwin of Waukesha, formerly of Milwaukee and Florida, was born to eternal life at his residence at Summit Woods Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at the age of 95.

He was born in Neillsville, Oct. 4, 1923, the son of Benjamin and Hattie (Susa) Bodwin. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Hubert worked for many years at Patrick Cudahy. He was a devout Catholic and lived life simply.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph Bodwin of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia, his infant daughter Patricia and sisters: Irene Logemann and Mildred Mizia.

Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Fr. Howard Haase presided. Interment followed at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield with full military honors.
