Bauer, Timothy J. (28 MAY 1967 - 2 DEC 2018)

Timothy J. Bauer, 51, Catawba, died at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls, WI, on Sunday, December 2, 2018. He is at peace after an almost 3 year battle with brain tumors and infections.

He was born May 28, 1967, in Medford, Wisconsin, the son of Tony and Dorothy (Lasica-Ellman) Bauer. He was a 1985 graduate of the Phillips High School. He was married to Kimberly Ihlenfeld on October 11, 2012, in Deadwood, South Dakota.

When he was younger he worked on the family farm. He was employed at Lake of the Woods in Prentice and at NORCO (Jeld-Wen) in Hawkins. In his free time he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed ATVing, camping, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, and a fur baby dog, Yukon; by his mother, Dorothy (Lasica-Ellman) Bauer; by one brother, Paul Bauer, Catawba; by three sisters, Connie (Joe) Boho, Wausau, Debbie (Ron) Langstaff, Aurora, IL, and Wendy (Shane) Will, Wausau; by two nephews and by five nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tony Bauer; and by his step-father, Clarence Ellman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in the Catawba Cemetery in the spring.
