He left his mark on all who have had the pleasure of being a part of his journey. His journey began on November 5, 1996 in Marshfield to Cindy (Kundinger) Wurl and Kurt Martin. Kyle was a 2015 graduate of Stratford High School.

He grew up in Stratford where he developed a passion for hunting, video games, Taco Bell and most of all, football. These passions led Kyle on a unique and memorable path that were not easily matched.

His life passion for football began in the backyard and grew through high school. Kyle’s love for the game led him to furthering his playing experience in local amateur semi-professional leagues. His first season was with the Wausau Jaguars in the Wisconsin State Football League. Though this wasn’t the most successful of his football experiences, this is where his love for the game turned into a dream. The following season Kyle became a member of the Northern Lights Cowboys inaugural season in the Northern Lights football league. Kyle’s leadership and performance on the field created an adventurous opportunity to travel across the globe and share his love for the game with the South Eastern Predators of the Gridiron League in Melbourne, Australia. Kyle had intentions of returning to the Predators in 2019 in a coaching capacity.

He left behind his mother; Cindy and stepfather, Paul Wurl of Stratford, his father; Kurt Martin of Marshfield, siblings; Reid Gust (Samantha Mushel) of Edgar, Tanille (Garrett) Frankwick of Marshfield, Kolton Wurl of Marshfield, Fahallahn Wurl of Stratford, and niece; Presley Frankwick of Marshfield. He also leaves behind his grandparents; Helen Kundinger of Marshfield, Judy and Bill Wurl of Stratford, and Delores Martin of Marshfield, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Robert Kundinger Jr. and Gerald J. Martin and an uncle; Dan Williams.

His parents want to express that although Kyle is no longer with us, that he will live on through the gift of organ donation, where his gift will help many other lives.
