Renaud, Patricia Louise (14 SEP 1974)

Miss Patricia Renaud, Rochester, Minnesota, and John Thomas Trnka, Rochester, Minnesota, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 1974 at Grinnell, Iowa. The Rev. John McCallum performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Warner E. Renaud, Grinnell, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Trnka, Loyal (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.

Mrs. Willard Heffner was the organist.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was seen in a white debut silk gown with Victorian Silhouette, fitted bodice with high neckline and cluney lace ruffles. She had a chapel length train and her veil was a total look mantilla with pearl trimmed Camelot headpiece. Her flowers were a cascade arrangement of yellow rose, carnations, daisies, and ivy.

Mrs. John Gillaspey, Des Moines, Iowa, was the matron of honor, and Miss Linda Renaud, Sioux City, Iowa, was bridesmaid. The maid of honor was seen in a pastel green dress, and the bridesmaid in a pastel blue A-line gown with empire waistline. They carried a continental bouquet of yellow carnations, pom pons, daisies, and ivy.

Mr. Raymond Romon, Rochester, Minnesota, was best man, with Ronald De Remer, Rochester, Minnesota, as groomsman.

Performing ushering duties were Tom and Bill Renaud, Kenneth Trnka, and Gene Ohnstad.

A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents at BJ's on Friday, September 13, and a reception followed the ceremony at the Fellowship Hall of the church.

The bride attended Iowa Methodist School of Nursing and graduated in 1973. She is a Registered Nurse at Rochester Methodist Hospital.

Her husband is a 1970 graduate of the University of Wisconsin and is a Research Engineer at IBM Rochester.

After a wedding trip to Colorado, they will make their home in Rochester, Minnesota.
