Erdle, Martin (2 DEC 1944 - 12 NOV 2018)

Martin Erdle, 73, Prentice, died at the Rib Lake Health Services facility in Rib Lake, WI, on Monday, November 12, 2018.

He was born in Augsburg, Germany, on December 2, 1944, the son of Martin and Maria Magdalena Erdle Sr. He attended the Prentice High School. He was married to Carol Ann Bauer on May 24, 1965, in Phillips, and following their marriage they made their home in Prentice.

He was employed in the Parts/Materials Department of Omark Industries until the time of his retirement. He served as a volunteer driver for the Commission on Aging/Price County Human Services. In his free time he enjoyed improving and working on his land, ATVing, bird and deer hunting, casino trips, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by one daughter, Heidi (Jay) Halmstad, Catawba; and by two grandchildren, Brad Halmstad and Taylor Ann Halmstad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann, on February 3, 2008.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
