Hollman, Marlene Irene (6 SEP 1969)

The marriage of Miss Marlene Irene Hollman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hollman of route 2, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), and Don William Schnelle of Merrill, took place Saturday, September 6, 1969 in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony witnessed by the Rev. Francis Rushman at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby.

Music during the ceremony was provided by the Brothers of Pius X.

The attendants for the bride were Miss Sharron Hollman of Milwaukee, the maid of honor, and Miss Jean Hollman of Wausau, and Miss Mary Lou Hollman, Colby. All are sisters of the bride.

Best man was James Schnelle of Merrill, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Robert Neupert of Schofield and Ralph Graveen of Wausau.

Seating the guests were Richard Hull of Merrill and James Muszynski of Schofield.

The bride chose a demi-fit A-line imported organza gown. Pearled and scalloped Chantilly lace encircled an oval neckline, accentuating the yoked redingote front. The lace cage effect swept to a built-in chapel train. Her headpiece was formed of lace petals and organza flowers, trimmed in pearls and sequins, which held a three tier bouffant veil.

She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses in white carnations, accentuated with lemon leaves.

The bridesmaids' dresses were each fashioned with a moss green bodice and short sleeves on an empire waistline and lime green A-line skirt in karate. The back was styled in moss green Watteau, topped by a large bow. Their headpieces were matching green daisies on picture hats.

They carried ' colonial bouquets of white daisies with white streamers encircled with leather leaf ferns.

Following the ceremony a reception, dinner and dance were held at the Trianon Ballroom.

Following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Canada, the couple will live at 833 1/2 Henrietta Street, Wausau.

The bride, a 1966 graduate of the Colby High School is employed at The Wausau Post Office. Mr. Schnelle works at Wausau Tile and Terrazzo. He graduated from the Merrill High School in 1963.
