Kaiser, Jacqueline (2 AUG 1969)

For her wedding Saturday, August 2, 1969, to Larry Meyer, son of. and Mrs. Alvin Meyer of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), Miss Jacqueline Kaiser of Colby (Clark Co.) , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Kaiser, chose a floor length gown of silk organza with French embroidery.

She complemented it with a French illusion floor length veil which formed a chapel train. Her flowers were a cascade of rose gladiolas and chrysanthemums.

Miss Kaiser was given in marriage by her father at the 1 p.m. ceremony on Saturday afternoon in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Brothers of Pius X provided the music.

In the wedding party were Miss Sue Loos, Colby, maid of honor, and Bruce Meyer, Dorchester, best man; Miss Debbie Kaiser and Miss Pat Krebsbach, Colby, Mrs. Wayne Underwood and Mrs. Donald Meyer, Dorchester, bridesmaids. Groomsmen were Al Kaiser, Colby, Wayne Underwood and Donald Meyer, Dorchester.

Peter Kaiser and James Meyer did the ushering duties at the church.

The bridal aids were wearing lime green floor length linen skimmers, and each had a bouquet of yellow and white gladiolas.

Mr. and Mrs. Meyer greeted their wedding guests Saturday afternoon and evening at the reception, supper and dance, all at the Trianon Ballroom.

Both are 1967 graduates of Colby High School, and 1969 graduates, she from Taylor County Teachers College and he from North Central Technical Institute at Wausau.

Their honeymoon of two weeks was through western states and upon returning they will reside on Kennedy Avenue in Dorchester. Mr. Meyer is assistant manager there for Meyer Mfg. Corporation, and Mr.s Meyer will teach school in Edgar this fall.
