Marion, Robert A. Jr. (25 MAR 1944 - 23 OCT 2018)

Robert A. Marion, Jr., 74 of Boyd, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Chippewa Manor.

He was born on March 25, 1944 in Edson the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Hudson) Marion, SR. He grew up in the Barron area and married Eileen Edna Reddig on April 11, 1964 in Barron.

The couple moved to Edson in 1981 where Robert has been since. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and “putzing” with tractors.

He is survived by his children, Lori (Duane) Setzer of Stanley, Edward Marion of Chippewa Falls, Betty (Mike) Burzynski of Thorp and Tory Marion and Heather Marion both of Boyd, 10
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his siblings, Jerry (Kathy) Marion and Dale (Betty) Marion both of Boyd, Duane (Peggy) Marion of Prairie Farm, Shirley (Kim) Bergman, Sharon (Ronnie) Micheels and Darlene “Toots” (Steve) Miller all of Ridgeland, Deb Lorenz of LaCrosse and Vicki Middleton of Cornell, his sisters in law, Lois Marion of Boyd and Kay Marion of Prairie Farm and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eileen (2003), his sons, Dave and Keith, brothers, Ralph and Earl, brother in laws, Kevin “Digger” Schuebel and David Middleton.

A celebration of life will be held at the Boondocks Tavern-Wilson at 1PM on Saturday, November 3rd. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery-Boyd.
