Kuehni, Gordon (17 OCT 1933 - 24 OCT 2018)

Gordon Kuehni, 85 of Stanley, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital-Eau Claire.

He was born on October 17, 1933 to the late Herman and Margaret (Bernklau) Kuehni. Gordie
grew up in the township of Delmar and graduated from Stanley High in 1951. He later married Joann Naiberg, who he called "the nicest person he ever knew" in 1975 who later passed in 2002.

Gordie was a self-employed Truck Driver for many years. His passion was deer hunting. He would find any way possible to get out there and enjoy the sport.

He is survived by his children, Peggy Key, Barbara Lewis, Bonnie Schuster, Gregory and Alan Kuehni, and his step sons, Roger, Allen and Randy Erickson, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister Margaret Ann Gottlicht of Sun City, AZ.

Gordie is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joann, his sons James and Jeff Kuehni and his grandson Alex Erickson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley. Visitation will be one hour prior. A get-together for family and friends will be at Maple Hill Tavern starting at 1:00 pm. Interment in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery-Chetek will take place at a later date.
