Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Steinke of South Holland, Illinois are spending a two week vacation at their some home at Phillips. His father, William Steinke, is pending a few days with them.

Mr. and Mrs. John Reik of New Jersey spent a week here with relatives. Mrs. Reik and Mrs. Rolland Roth are sisters.

Mrs. Vern Steffen had as their guests Sunday, his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Steffen of New London, and their sister, Mrs. Helen Siwert of Hortonville.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Empey and family, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Koehler, attended the Nebraska picnic at Greenwood on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kalepp Sr. returned Friday, July 25, after spending the past ten days at Anchorage, Alaska, where they flew from Wausau to visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Myre and children. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Gene Johnson, who were formerly from Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Al Smith of Echo Park, formerly of Antigo. On the return flight at the Seattle Washington Airport, Bob Waech boarded the plane enroute to Phillips to visit his mother. The Waech family formerly lived at Abbotsford.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Carter returned Monday noon from De Pere, where they went Tuesday evening. They visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Rothier and family, and their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Carter and family. They also visited sisters and brothers of Mrs. Carter.
