Mr. and Mrs. James H. Steinberg of Unity are the parents of a son born Saturday, July 12, 1969, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Matthew Charles weighed nine pound and three and one-fourth ounces at birth, and joins one sister, Kris Ann, at home.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zeichert, Fremont, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Steinberg, Weyauwega.

James Steinberg is a faculty member of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) High School.
