Knoll, Frances Ariene (Rokus) (10 APR 1895 - 15 JUN 1976)

Medford - Mrs. Frank Knoll, age 80, of Rt. 3, Medford, died at 3:10 a.m., Tuesday, 15 June 1976, at Medford Memorial Hospital. She is a native of Town Siegel, Wood County.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, with The Rev. William Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Medford Catholic Cemetery.

The former Frances Ariene Rokus was born April 20, 1895, in the town of Siegel. She married Frank Knoll on May 8, 1916, in Pittsville. After their marriage they farmed in the Gilman area until retiring and moving to Medford.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Singleton, Rt. 3, Medford; and Mrs. Herbert Singleton, Medford; a son, Elmer, Muncie, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. John Dhein, Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Tony and Edward, both of Wisconsin Rapids; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, from 4 to 9 p.m., Thursday. A parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
