City Councilman Robert Smith, 41, died suddenly Monday evening about 8 p.m. from an apparent heart attack at his home here (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.).

Mr. Smith was an employee of Thorp Finance Corporation. He was elected for a second 2-year term as councilman from the third ward, last spring.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday(, December 2nd, 1971, at ten a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church.

Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Rosary was recited Wednesday, December 1st at 8:00 p.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home.
