Juzwiak, Mr./Mrs. Malen (Silver - 19 JUN 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Malen Juzwiak, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, who were married 25 years ago, celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary Saturday, June 19, 1971.

The couple married was blessed by Father Matzek at St. Hedwig's Chapel at an 11 o'clock Mass of Thanksgivng, where they exchanged promises for 25 years.

A 12 o'clock lunch was served at the home of the couple for 60 guests, and a 6:30 dinner was served at the parish hall by St. Hedwig's Ladies Guild for 260 guests. Mrs. Edward Kotecki was hostess.

Music was furnished by the Diamondirs of Withee, Wisconsin.

Table were decorated with bud vases of silver roses and a centerpiece of lilies, roses, and silver, made by Mrs. Emil Kotowski of Lublin, and her daughter, Mrs. Jim Olson.

With their parents for the day were the couple's two children, Malen Jr., at home, and Betty (Mrs. Ben Szymanski) and son of Mound, Minnesota.

Among the guests were seven of the ten original wedding party. Attending were: Tony Yaron, Dorchester, Wis., Casey Yaron, Lublin, Frank Penkala, Thorp, Frank Juzwik, Glenview, Ill., Roz Wojtkiewicz (Hennessey), Chicago, Ill., Carol Gajda (Shimel), Tony, Wis., Lucille Piwoni (Szemraj), Lublin, Marcy Budrus, Lublin.

The other three that were unable to attend were: George Chavrnos, Los Angeles, California, Stella Kinal, Chicago, Ill., and Elva Pederson, Thorp.

Other guests attending came from Lublin, Gilman, Dorchester, Chicago, Ill., Owen, Athens, Thorp and Schofield.
