The office of the Medford Branch Campus, Wisconsin State University-Stevens
Pont, was opened Monday on the campus for a year of recruiting faculty members,
registering students and working out other programming for establishing the
one-year branch here. The branch will begin classes here in fall of 1969.
Dr. Russell L. Oliver, Stevens Point, dean of faculty, occupied a temporary
office in the present Taylor County Teachers college Monday. Mrs. Robert Virnig
has been hired a secretary to the dean, and she also began her secretarial
duties Monday.
