Craft, Joyce (28 JUN 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. John Hopperdietzel are now at home at 309 Garfield Avenue, Wausau, having returned from a honeymoon trip to the upper Michigan peninsula.

The marriage of John Robert Hopperdietzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Joyce Craft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Craft of Marshfield, took place Saturday, June 28, 1969 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Marshfield. The Rev. Peter J. Leketas officiated at the one o'clock nuptial high mass, for which the adult choir sang.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a floor length gown of rosepoint over white satin, designed with an empire waistline and a Watteau panel extending to a chapel train. Her fouffant veil billowed from a forward headpiece of Alencon lace, aurora borealis crystals and satin roses. She carried an arrangement of ivy and white stephanotis, centered with a white orchid.

Miss Maribeth craft and Phil Nelson were the honor attendants, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kapfer of Rockford, Illinois, completed the wedding party. Greg Kipp of Eau Claire and Michael Kramer of Fond du Lac seated the guests at the church.

The bride attendants wore empire styled floor length gowns of green chiffon over mint taffeta and carried bouquets of white daisies.

Following the church ceremonies, a reception and 4:30 o'clock dinner took place at Msgr. Toeller Hall.

Mr. Hopperdietzel is a 1966 graduate of the Abbotsford High School and is assistant soft lines manager at Tempo in Wausau. His bride, a 1966 graduate of Columbus High in Marshfield, was graduated the following year from Gale Institute at Minneapolis, and has been employed at the Central State Bank, Marshfield.

Attending the wedding from Abbotsford came Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel and Joel, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Kallien, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Buman, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kramer.
