Radue, Karline Ann (Marriage – 5 April 1975)

Red roses, white carnations and lilies of the valley formed her wedding bouquet as Miss Karline Ann Radue became the bride of Ralph Robert Schmidt in a 1 p.m. ceremony performed Satruday, April 5, at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield. The Rev. T. P. Bradtke officiated for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Radue of Rt. 1 Neillsville, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schmidt, also of Rt. 1.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a gown of mira mist and venise lace styled with long, full sleeves and a ruffle-edged skit flowing into a cathedral train. Her fingertip veil was held by a crown headpiece.

Miss Kristine Radue, Marshfield, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Schmidt and Miss Lorie Schmidt, both of Neillsville. Their orchid empire styled gowns were fashioned with white ducco dots, bands of lace and deep hemline ruffling. They carried bouquets of orchid roses and white carnations.

Serving as bestman was Richard Schmidt. Wayne Radue and Roger Erickson were the groomsmen. Guests were seated by John Swenson and Alvin Lezotte.

Mrs. T. P. Bradtke was the organist and Mrs. Wayne Lauterbach, the soloist.

The Village Plaza, Spencer, was the setting for a reception, dinner and dance.

A 1972 graduate of Loyal High School, the bride is employed in Marshfield as a medical secretary. Her husband graduated from Neillsville High School in 1971 and is engaged in farming.

Following their return from a wedding trip to Mackinac Island, the newlyweds will live on Rt. 1, Granton.
