Miss Kathryn J. Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Peterson, New Brighton, Minnesota, became the bride of Donald J. Zielanis, Eau Claire, son of Mrs. Elsie Zielanis, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Leon Zielanis, Thorp (Clark Co.), on Saturday, September 23, 1972, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Minneapolis. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length empire A-line gown of white chiffon, with a bodice of peau d'ange lace with beading, with bell shaped sleeves edged in lace. An attached chapel length train with elbow length veil was held by a Camelot cap covered in chiffon and lace of town. She carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.

Dawn Nash, daughter of the bride's cousin, was flower girl, and David West, the bride's Godson, was ring bearer.

Dale Stephens, friend of the couple, was best man, and groomsmen were: Jim Hall, friend of the groom, and Jerry Peterson, brother of the bride. Ushers were John Rucks and Ron Nash.

A reception was held at the Ramada Inn, St. Paul, with a buffet and dancing following.

The bride attended Roosevelt High School and was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank. The groom attended Owen-Withee High School and Eau Claire Vocational School, and is with Wisconsin Telephone as a test man.
