Larson, Peter (30 OCT 1885 – 18 AUG 1972)

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), for Peter Larson, of the Memorial Home, Neillsville, who died their Friday morning.

The Rev. David Wenger, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, officiated, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were Irwin Geisler, Jim Peterson, John Zawadzki, Harold Sorenson, Godfrey Dyre, and Herb Missling.

Mr. Larson was born October 30, 1885 in Norway, and came to this country as a young man. He was married in Scandinavia in 1932 to the former Delia Voie, who died in 1946. He farmed in the town of Longwood until 1932, and then lived in Owen and then the Greenwood Home for the Aged until the last year and a half, when he resided at the Memorial Home, Neillsville.
