Prynch, Jennifer (Staberg) (19 JUN 1946 - 20 JUL 2018)

Jennifer Prynch, 72 of Altoona and formerly of Bruce, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at River Pines long-term care in Altoona.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Anthony "Tony" (Deb) Stai of Rochester, MN, Brian Stai of Henrico, NC and Chad (Deb) Stai of Eau Claire, 7 grandchildren; Kylie, Emily, Paige, Eric, Gerald, Keith and Zachary Stai, 1 brother; Lawrence (Ann) Staberg of Bellvue, WA and 1 sister; Gloria Walkley of Olympia, WA.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society of Rusk County.

Jennifer Prynch, 72, of Altoona, and formerly of Bruce, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at River Pines long-term care in Altoona following a 2-year battle with COPD.

Jennifer was born on June 19, 1946 in Stillwater, Minn. to Rosemary and Reuben Staberg. They preceded her in death. Jennifer married Tony Prynch on June 9, 1990 in Eau Claire. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2010. Jennifer lived in Bruce for 26 years beginning in the summer of 1990. Prior to that, she spent 44 years in Eau Claire.

She worked as a legal secretary at Kaiser LTD Law Office in Eau Claire and also held various positions within the Rusk County Snowmobile Association.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony "Tony" (Deb) Stai of Rochester, Minn., Brian Stai of Henrico, N.C. and Chad (Deb) Stai of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Kylie, Emily, Paige, Eric, Gerald, Keith and Zachary Stai; her brother, Lawrence (Ann) Staberg of Bellvue, Wash. and her sister, Gloria Walkley of Olympia, Wash.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society of Rusk County.
