Pearson, Charles “Chuck” B. (12 SEP 1932 - 22 JUN 2018)

Charles “Chuck” B. Pearson, 85, of Medford, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Aspirus Care & Rehab, Medford where he had resided for the past 2 ½ months.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 26, at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford with Perry Pearson officiating. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Visitation will take place at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, from 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 26.

Chuck was born on September 12, 1932 at Evanston, IL, to Bertram Ivanhoe and Rose Josephine (Neuendorf) Pearson, and attended Evanston, IL schools. On March 25, 1955, he married Irene M. Sauer, at Dubuque, Iowa.

He was a US Army veteran, and after his service to his country, he dairy farmed and mink ranched in the Town of Browning for a period of time. After farming, he drove truck for Neuendorf Transportation & worked at Weather Shield in Medford. They moved to Wausau in 1976 and he did janitorial services while residing there. In October of 2017, they moved to the Town of Medford. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golf, reading, yard work, bird watching and spending time with his grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Irene M. Pearson, Medford; children Linda (Jeff) Paul of Curtiss & Diane (Doug) Solberg of Abbotsford; 6 grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Paul, Tracy (Alan) Hanlin, Andrew (Courtney) Paul, Jessica (Jamie) Minton, Brianna (Justin) Michlig, Jordan (Ashley) Solberg; and 16 great grandchildren; siblings Richard Pearson of Black Creek, WI; and
Sister-in-law: Carol Pearson of Mellon, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertram Ivanhoe and Rose Josephine (Neuendorf) Pearson; and sibling Allen Pearson; and sister-in-law: Lynda L. Pearson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to the family for a future designation.
