Hakola, Maria Nellie (20 APR 1974)

Maria Nellie Hakola, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hakola, 111 Gwinn Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and James Raymond Elsinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, 317 S. Main, Loyal, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 1974. The nuptial ceremony was performed at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with Father Nobert King officiating.

The church choir sang for the ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was seen in a full length white gown of sheer nylon organza, with A-line skirt, with sweep chapel train and Camelot style cap with 3-tiered veil.

Miss Karen Elsinger, Loyal, as maid of honor, and Miss Sandra Delo, Loyal and Mrs. John Pernsteiner, Loyal, as bridesmaids, were seen in apricot floral print, full length gowns of polyester and cotton, with matching peplum style jackets.

Mr. John Pernsteiner, Loyal, was best man, with Mr. John Bowe, Loyal and Mr. John Nelson, Loyal, as groomsmen.

Performing ushering duties were Mr. Arthur Hakola Jr., River Falls, Wis., and Mr. Jerry Elsinger, Spencer.

A reception was held at the Amber Inn, Loyal, with a supper in the church basement. A dance was held at the Loyal Fire Hall.

The new Mrs. Elsinger is a 1971 graduate of Loyal High School, and North Central Tech, Wausau, and is employed as an Operating Room Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

The groom attended Loyal High School and is employed by Lato Construction.
