Martini, Edna (18 MAY 1911 – 27 DEC 1973)

Mrs. Gottlob Martini of Route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died early Thursday morning at the Colonial Home at Colby, where she had been admitted November 26. She was 62 years of age.

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Officiating was the Rev. Leander A. Koopman, pastor, and burial was made in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The former Edna A. Hontarski was born May 18, 1911 in Clark County, Wisconsin and attended the Oakland School in the town of Reseburg. Since her marriage to Gottlob Martini on April 10, 1945, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Thorp, the couple had resided on a farm north of Greenwood.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Miss Rita Martini, at home; a son, Kenneth, also at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Estelle) Rabas, Delafield, and Mrs. Charles (Josephine) Kaiser, Chicago.

A sister preceded her in death.
