Mews, Coleen Kaye (15 SEP 1973)

Coleen Kaye Mews, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), and Michael Dean Schultz, Granton, were united in marriage at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 1973, at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Chili, Wis. Father Houston performed the ceremony. Jean Stoflet was organist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mews, R.R. 2, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schultz, R.R. 1, Granton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, and chose a floor length beribboned empire silhouette gown trimmed with sequined scalloped Chantilly lace with bishop sleeves and detachable Watteau train, with matching loor length veil edged in scalloped lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses, blue and lavender mums.

Miss Patsy Mews, R.R. 2, Spencer, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Shelly Lavey, Granton, Mrs. LuAnn Rueth, Loyal, and Miss Melanie Schultz, Marshfield. They were seen in floor length gowns of organza fluff dotted sheer with ruffled neck and skirt with Venice lace trim. They carried bouquets of white and lavender mums.

Mr. Dennis Rollins, R.R. 2, Spencer, was best man, and groomsmen were Mr. Larry Schultz, Granton, Mr. William Rueth, Loyal, and Mr. Rick Bartsch, Granton.

Mr. DuWayne Mews and Mr. Lowell Schultz performed ushering duties.

A reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Spencer Municipal Hall.

Mrs. Schultz is a 1872 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at Citizens National Bank & Trust, Marshfield.

Her husband is a 1971 graduate of Granton High School and is employed at Granton Farmers Union, Granton.

They will make their home in Granton, Wis.
