Hainzlsperger, Raymond F. (19 SEP 1933 - 24 APR 2018)

Raymond F. Hainzlsperger, age 84, of Unity, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at St. Mary Help of Christian Parish in Colby. Interment with military honors provided by the Colby VFW Post No. 2227 will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Colby is entrusted with arrangements.

Raymond was born on Sept. 19, 1933, the son of John and Stella (Noll) Hainzlsperger in Colby. He attended St. Mary School. Raymond was drafted into the U. S. Navy and served from 1955-57 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Shangri-La. He worked at P. A. Dins Feed Mill in Colby and also farmed on the home farm in the Town of Hull.

On Aug. 21, 1969, Raymond was united in marriage to Carmen Flick at St. Mary Catholic Church in Colby. He liked to tinker and take anything a part and put back together. He also was a collector of many things.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carmen; two sisters, Virginia Morrow and Eleanor Moeller; two brothers, Leroy and Joseph; 36 nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, Harold and Ervin; and two sisters, Florence Schneider and Viola Kleinschmidt.
