Rittenhouse, William (1874? – 1 DEC 1970)

William Rittenhouse, 98, of 820 Fairview Ave., Salem, Oregon, formerly a resident of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away December 1, 1970.

Services were held December 4, 1970 at 10:30 a.m. at the Virgil T. Golden Mortuary, and interment was at Belcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Rittenhouse was born in Wisconsin and left Withee in 1945. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie, daughters, Mrs. Fannie Guadnola, Los Angeles; Mrs. Freda Columbus, Mrs. Beatrice Berchem, and Mrs. Vera Gilman, all of Salem, and Mrs. Audrey Orlando, Daytona Beach, Florida; sons, Maurice, Earl and Wesley, all of Salem, and Duane, Owen; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
