A farewell dinner party was held at the Meadowview Country Club on November 8, 1970 for the employees and wives of the trucking department of Foremost Foods Company.

The assembly paid honor to three retiring employees, Leon Steinwand, William Stolp and Eugene Juntunen.

Jim List, Owen terminal manager, called upon Norman Grow, district manager of Appleton, to say a few words and make the presentations to the honored ones.

Each was presented with a $50 savings bond from their fellow employees, and an AM-FM radio from the company.

Leon Steinwand had been with the company 28 years and 9 months.; William Stolp served them for 27 years and 8 months, whole Eugene Juntunen had been associated with the firm for 24 years and 10 months.
