Johnson, Janice L. (Schuyler) (29 SEP 1941 - 21 FEB 2018)

Janice L. (Schuyler) Johnson, age 76, of Ladysmith, died on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Janice was born on Sept. 29, 1941 at Utica, N.Y., and during her teen years the family moved to the Chetek area. On Oct. 20, 1990, she was married to John Johnson at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, John; her son, John Turner, Jr.; her daughters, Judy (Tom) Ebler, Jackie Turner and Tracy Turner; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her sisters, Sharon (Frank) Bauer and Sally Schuyler and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeff Turner; her granddaughter, Robin Hurt; her great grandson, Isaac Parker; her brother, Earl Schuyler and her daughter-in-law, Deb Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26 at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the town of Maple Grove in rural Dallas, with Rev. Heather Kistner officiating. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Interment will follow in the Otter Creek Cemetery in the town of Otter Creek in rural Wheeler.

Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes in Dallas and Cameron.
