Gajda, Gary Raymond (1957? - 25 FEB 2018)

Gary Raymond Gajda, 61, of Lublin, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at his home. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 2 at 9:30- 11 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin.

Gary was born in Chicago, Ill. to Alice (Hargot) Dawson and Raymond Gajda. He was a passionate, resourceful and humorous man. He loved to tell jokes and make sly comments. He loved classics - classic movies, cars and music. He was a carpenter by trade.

Gary enjoyed fixing cars, riding motorcycle, playing guitar and singing. He was extremely proud of his three daughters, Michelle Chaplinski of Gilman and her husband Matthew; Heidi Osuagwu of Minneapolis, Minn. and her husband Kelechi, and Jennifer Gajda of Minneapolis, Minn.
In addition to his daughters, Gary is survived by his life companion, Marlene Gajda; his granddaughters, Pearl and Fern Chaplinski; and his grandson, Emeka Osuagwu.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother; step-father, Howard Dawson; and his brother, Robert Gajda.
