Fasse, Margaret (Kralcik) (17 JUL 1924 - 17 FEB 2018)

Margaret Fasse, age 93, of the Milan area, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Dycora Transitional Health in Abbotsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan. Father George Graham will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

The honor of pallbearers belongs to Brenda Zahradka, Cari Jensen, Chad Bernt, Ryan Bernt, Derek Zahradka, Shane Zahradka and Amanda Koplin. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan and Ashlyn Bernt and Gavin and Finnegan Koplin.

Margaret was born July 17, 1924, the daughter of John and Veronica (Hurak) Kralcik, Sr. in the Town of Hull. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Fasse on June 21, 1947.

Margaret was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for her husband's gravel and milk routes. She also worked at Figis’ seasonally and retired to care for her disabled husband and niece. Margaret was a caring person, always willing to run people to their doctor appointments or take them shopping and to visit them either at home or in the hospital. Margaret enjoyed playing cards and games and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked to do word search puzzles and put jigsaw puzzles together.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Gordon) Jensen of Abbotsford and Janet (Helmut) Bernt of Abbotsford; grandchildren, Brenda Zahradka of Marshfield, Cari Jensen of Wausau, Chad (Carey) of Athens, Ryan (Tami) Bernt of Hastings, MN, and Amanda (Jason) Koplin of Withee; her great-grandchildren, Derek Zahradka, Shane Zahradka, Ethan and Ashlyn Bernt and Gavin and Finnegan Koplin.

She is further survived by her brother, Edward (Loraine) Kralcik; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
