Frahm, Barbara A. (Verburg) (4 OCT 1939 - 11 FEB 2018)

Barbara A. Frahm, age 78, of Abbotsford, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford from 2-5 p.m. There will be no funeral service.

Barbara was born on Oct. 4, 1939, in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Viola (Gerbing) Verburg. She attended Milwaukee schools and was a 1957 graduate of Rufus King High School. Her marriage to Donald E. Frahm took place on Sept. 14, 1957, in Milwaukee. They were married for 60 years. Together they built a new house and lived in Racine County (Union Grove area) until 1985 when they moved to Abbotsford. Barbara was a homemaker most of her life.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, canning and working on crossword puzzles.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Donald of Abbotsford; three sons, Dale (Dawn) Frahm of Sturtevant, Brian (Glory) Frahm of Oak Creek and Allan (Hannah) Frahm of Mounds View, Minn.; four grandchildren, Bryon, Mark, Carl and Nora; and one great-grandchild, Oliver. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, James (Pat) Frahm and Gilbert (Jeanette) Frahm; sisters-in-law, Loretta Gottard, Beverly (Ron) Mick and Jerryann (Gary) Maldonis; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
