Capelle, Rae V. (15 OCT 1924 - 11 AUG 1999)

Rae V. Capelle, 74, Medford, died Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 13, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford with Rev. Dennis Meulemans officiating.

Cremainal interment took place in St. Andrew Cemetery in the Town of Goodrich. Visitation and a Prayer service were held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford.

Rae V. Capelle was born October 15, 1924, in Medford to Otto and Hulda (Klug) Capelle. He attended the Wisconsin State School for the Deaf in Delevan and also Eau Claire Vocational School for two years.

His marriage to Della Rose Kennedy took place on November 23, 1961, in Chicago.

He resided and worked in Chicago for a pharmaceutical company for 18 years. In 1974, he returned to Medford and was employed at Weather Shield Mfg. until retiring in 1985. He entered Memorial Nursing Home in 1996.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Della of Memorial Nursing Home in Medford; one brother, Rolland (Dorothy) Capelle of Tallahassee, Fla.; and one sister, Loretta Kraemer of Monona.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Florence Pries; and four brothers, Melvin, Glen, Everett, and Clarence Capelle.
