Bogdonovich, Richard A. (6 JUL 1946 – 22 JAN 2018)

Richard A. Bogdonovich, 71, Greenwood, passed away in Greenwood on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018. A family memorial service will be conducted at a later date in the spring.

Richard Allen Bogdonovich was born on July 6, 1946, in Wisconsin, the son of Peter and Margaret (nee Thompson) Bogdonovich. He was raised and received his education in the Greenwood School District, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1964. Rich married Carol Tieman on June 30, 1965, in Milwaukee. They later divorced. Rich was employed with the H.O. Bostrom Company in Milwaukee, and then returned to Greenwood and was employed at several local businesses in the Greenwood area. He was involved in a bad motorcycle accident and had been living with his mother for many years. He worked at Adult Development Service in Greenwood, and did small yard work jobs for people in the Greenwood area. Rich had many interests, but especially enjoyed playing softball, snowmobiling, attending auto races, and buying many sharp-looking cars before his accident. After his accident, he enjoyed watching Packer and Brewer games, pestering the workers up at Kwik Trip, and waving to anybody who drove by him uptown.

He is survived by two sons: Dean (Becki) Bogdonovich of Greenwood, and Darin (Kim) Bogdonovich of Loyal; five grandsons; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; his mother: Margaret Bogdonovich of Greenwood; two brothers: Michael (Pat) Bogdonovich of Milwaukee, and Dennis “Pete” (Pat) Bogdonovich of Greenwood; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Bogdonovich.
